  1. Yes I would! I would have given anything if I could have given my Dad my lungs! You see he had Sarcoid, he got it around 1975 or so, at a time just like to this day they didn't know what it was or how to treat. So for years he had no treatment other than the daily prayer and Faith he had in God and the Holly Spirit.

It started with a small spot on one of his lungs and 35 yrs later at the age 78 when he passed away BOTH of his lungs were covered it looked like a thick spider-web which actully was thick scar tissue which over the years spread.

Like you he had bad coughing spells, often times losing his breath and getting just worn out after. He never slept in his bed because he couldn't lay down due to it feeling like he was choking. Which caused him to sleep in a chair or even out side in a chair because he felt the air helped him.

Not until 5years prior to his death did he even go to a lung MD. At that time they put him on storids and inhailers. With my dad believe it or not he had no other problems his blood pressure and anything else was fine. Just he coughed and couldn't breathe.

You are so correct they need to take this illness seriously! Almost 40years later still nop cure! Amazing it is like Cancer! It can spread! Most have no idea what this mess does! Both my dads lungs then his throat begain to close, which I realized that it was sarcoid, however no one would confirm that!

I send you a prayer! And ask god to give you strength!

  2. Sorry to here the suffering what ur father went through. I am going through now what he has gone through. It's ashamed after so many years there has yet to be a cure for this disease. This is a low painful disease. The doctors can only give u a pill to ease the pain but u get use to the pill and they have to find something else. I have no one to help me fight this battle. People will continue to get this disease and there still will be know CURE. Thank for ur comment and prayers.
